Fall is my favorite time of year but here in NYC the temps are still in the 80’s even though we’re now in mid September. What’s up with that?!?
While I’m waiting for the leaves to change, I can at least fill my Instagram feed with the colors of Autumn. I started a personal photography project last week where each week I’ll focus on the colors of Autumn. Focusing on color is something I teach in my photography classes – it’s a great way to practice paying attention to your surroundings.
Last week’s color was YELLOW. I’ve been posting a new photo each day on my personal Instagram account @totalcitygirl. There’s no way I’m messing up the checkerboard pattern I have going on with my @life.happens.now account. OCD much?!? 🙂
